BAWNAGLEN (9) won his maiden first-up at Dubbo then waited 44 days for his next run, a moderate effort over 1200m at this track. Fitter for that last outing and he needs 1400m now. Big chance to return to form. BONCAPO (1) stalked the pace then put a big gap on his rivals when resuming in a 1300m maiden at Dubbo last time out, the first appearance for a new stable. The heavy track may have been flattering, but he is lightly raced and open to further improvement. SNOW DOG (6) raced handy then showed a nice turn of foot to collect his maiden win over this course and distance recently. Sparingly raced five-year-old with more to offer. VENDOR (3) was a shade disappointing at Gunnedah last start but may have found 1250m a bit sharp. Worth another chance. YIASOU (4) doesn't win out of turn but his recent effort at Dubbo brings him under notice.
