PASSIO (11) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 1400m at Sale in a tougher race. Nicely drawn so a big run is anticipated. INDEPENDANT LAD (10) was well-supported in a handy race last time and logged a second-straight second placing. Poised to go one better. FOXTROT CHARLIE (2) is yet to break through after six career starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Geelong two starts back before finishing fourth over 1547m at the same track. Cannot be left out of calculations. IAMABADGUY (3) is a gelding by Russian Camelot out of Countess De Galvez who makes debut. Trial efforts suggest he can play a role from a good draw.
