FARFETCHED (6) copped an early check then got going late to finish second when resuming over this distance at Warwick Farm two weeks ago. Draws a lovely gate so if things fall into place she will prove very tough to hold out. CROSSWAYS (5) was a notable drifter on debut a fortnight ago in the same race as Farfetched and the market was right. Trialled like a good horse prior to that. Draws the fence and it will be no surprise if she turns things around. BALLET ENCORE (10) also went around at that same race at the Farm when returning from a ten-month lay-off and she did a good job to work home into fourth. Will take a lot from that outing and from a better gate this time she might race closer and stake her claim. CHURCHILLIAN (1) is trialling well for Team Hawkes and looks the pick for the first starters.
