ANTILOPINI (4) made it two on the trot when she showed a nice turn of foot to score with plenty in hand over this course and distance last start. Relishing the heavy tracks and it isn't clear whether a better surface might bring her unstuck. Deserves the benefit of the doubt. PHOENIX POWER (3) was there to pounce but didn't quite finish off as hoped at the end of 1512m at Port Macquarie last time out. Races well here and should be ready to peak at the third run back from a spell. KING SOLEIL (7) appreciated a drop in class and a return to 1400m when an eye-catching second recently at this circuit. Draws a nice gate and looks a contender down on 55kgs. DARK STRATUM (2) is slowly putting it together this prep, beaten narrowly at his latest appearance over today's journey at Casino. Drops 6.5kgs after the claim and draws the fence so he should have admirers. DARN DEADLY (5) can improve second-up out to a more suitable trip.
