LADY LUCIFER (2) was strongly fancied when resuming last start but was beaten 3.5 lengths into eighth over 1200m at Doomben. Has never missed the frame second-up. Strips fitter now and is expected to feature prominently from the inside marble. IKASARA (1) went forward last start and proved too strong, getting home by 2.25 lengths over 1400m at Sunshine Coast Poly. Gets 1.5kg off with the claim and looks nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. ULUWATU (8) is having her first run since winning by a head three weeks ago over 1200m at this track. Has transferred to the David Peoples stable over the break. Comes here with definite top-three claims. DESIAH (7) found the line nicely to grab second last time out over 1000m at Sunshine Coast Poly. Shapes as one of the main contenders.
