Open affair but liked the last start win of CEREMONIOUS (8) at Geelong, coming from last to round round his rivals up impressively in good time. The worry is if they try to replicate that pattern against better opposition here but he has early speed and draws to sit midfield at least. BLUESTONE (2) resumes from a short break. He's arguably the most talented horse in this field (on the flat) but has been very frustrating since some early promise, awful last time at Flemington when well backed. He's certainly good enough to take care of these. SUNSETS (1) got the confidence back with a good win on the synthetic last time and might be able to go on with it now. SALT SPRAY (16) was just fair in tougher 3yo company at Flemington last start, he can improve here and sets up well. PROMISED LAND (5) can bounce back off a poor one.
