Open race for the apprentices. GARNACHO (6) is a consistent type who has been close up in his past two at this track over 1400m. He looks suited rising in trip now from an ideal draw and should be right there in the finish. TEL AVIV (9) was a dominant winner two back at Wangaratta, solid again over this route last time out. She'll be up on speed and should be very hard to run down. Wary of ICHNUSA (2) who comes here off a smart maiden win at Seymour on debut. Quickly to a BM62 against decent opposition but he's open to plenty of upside. LOTS OF TIME (8) won here two back before an even effort at Cranbourne when working home for fourth. She should be thereabouts again. QUEENSBURY (3) is knocking on the door and up in trip looks okay.
