Tricky race. OFF THE PRESS (14) carved out good figures first up with a slashing second over 1100m at Rosehill in a decent rating contest. Goes even better second up and will take holding out from the low draw. Value contender. NIGHT AGENT (17) lightly raced gelding resuming. Went quickly through his grades last time in and expected to get cover from the draw with J Mac aboard. Primed with the two trials and will be savaging the line. ALABAMA STATE (3) has caught the eye in his two runs back and will relish the fast tempo today. Close to his top now and a win looks imminent. CALL ME GORGEOUS (10) back marker struggling to draw a gate this prep and today is no different. Has recorded excellent figures at both starts this prep and no shock to see him finish over the top of these. DIDDLE DUMPLING (13) shouldered the 60.5kg first up with a tenacious second over 1200m at Warwick Farm. Clearly come back in good shape and the winkers go on. Stays in the mix. The chances don't end there.
