DIVERGENT (11) got off the mark in dominant fashion two back and followed it with a strong effort here two weeks ago, doing his best work late in a tougher grade. Drawn sticky for Callow but with a lack of pace engaged they could look to push forward. If that’s the case he’s the one they have to beat. THERMODYNAMIC (3) comes through a hot form race first up and while he didn’t lead there, he should be able to land much handier over this trip. Expect Metcalfe to spear across early and give a sight. HYSTERICAL LADY (9) continues to leave herself with too much to do but is hitting the line hard. Draws to go back again but if the pace is genuine she could round them up late. TERRITORIAN (10) put it all together stylishly last start at Murray Bridge when letting down strongly to win by 3.8L. Another drawn to get back and be warming late. EMBELLISHER (1) is mixing his form but has peaks that measure up, even more so with the 3kg claim.
