Verdict

HARRYBEGOOD (6) resumed over 1100m at this track last time out and showed good speed to lead throughout, scoring comfortably. Fitter and will prove very tough to beat. GAULTIER (3) got off the mark over 1400m at Goulburn last start when savagely backed. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Interesting to note the application of blinkers. SUPERATA (1) also got the cash over 1400m at this track at his most recent appearance back in April. Has trialled well twice in readiness and is another one to consider. SCHUMACHER (7) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and sat just off the lead, eventually drawing away to score by a long neck over 1200m at Kembla Grange. No reason he can't figure in the finish again. REVAMPED (4) is another last start winner that deserves respect. Will probably hoping for a hot tempo so he can launch late.

Claiming his maiden victory on debut; favourite; raced right near the speed and boxed on; won by a long-neck at Kembla Grange on August 15 over 1200m defeating Ho Aloha carrying 56.5kg at $2.60. Better for that experience and is worth following up.

Handy strike-rate and is a key chance.

Most recently ran on from midfield and won by 1.3 len at Bathurst on August 17 over 1200m in the wet defeating Puissance Power carrying 57.5kg at $4.20. The run before that 5th of 14 in a Mdn-Sw at Scone on July 31 over 1300m, 2.5 len behind Courthezon with 56.5kg at $16. Tougher here and the ratings indicate he will struggle to feature in the finish.
