WELL WRITTEN (15) is a brilliant unbeaten mare who has swept all before her during her 3YO season, and she has looked impressive winning the latest of her 2 tune-up trials. She is eyeing up targets across the ditch, and can book her ticket with a win fresh up in this. ALABAMA LASS (12) was brilliant when winning the Foxbridge Plate fresh up at Te Rapa 2 weeks ago, and she had plenty more of improvement to come in her condition that day. She is the main threat to the top pick. PLATINUM ATTACK (5) is a promising 6YO CD visitor, and his stable are usually very competitive when trekking North. He cruised home to win a recent Foxton trial, and it would be unwise to risk him fresh up. FIRST FIVE (2) peaked on his run fresh up behind the second pick, but we know just how good he is, and a firmer surface should see him finish a lot closer this time. CROCETTI (4) could be the forgotten horse, and he will be a sharp improver second up from a spell. Keep him very safe in a top field.
