NOMORENIGHTSHIFT (11) found 1280m at Muswellbrook a bit sharp when resuming from a spell last start but he did knuckle down late and was only three lengths away at the finish. Probably goes back again from a wide draw but over a bit more ground can finish over the top of these. STOCKHOLM (3) won two on the bounce at this track then dropped out alarmingly at Canterbury recently. Clearly something amiss so prepared to give him another chance at his happy hunting ground. Distance specialist SHAMEDY (5) came with a big finish to get up for third last time out over this distance at Grafton. Has come back in fine order this prep and should be near his peak third-up. HIBIKI HARMONY (6) got too far out of her ground first-up over a shorter trip at Muswellbrook. Better placed today and the blinkers back on is a sign of intent. Stablemate NAVY STEEL (10) was easily accounted for first up at the Kensington track but can improve sharply in this company.
