STRASSMAN (3) went within a lip of returning to the winner's list at Forbes last time out, pipped by Divine Conclusion in a 1400m BM58 on Cup Day. Like the step up to the mile here - should be very tough to hold out and the price on offer is attractive. GREEN PINEAPPLE (10) hasn't won for a while but finished less than two lengths away over 1500m at Hawkesbury last time. That form should stand up nicely. DIVINE CONCLUSION (2) came from midfield on the bend to edge out Strassman at Forbes recently. Yet to place in six runs at the mile which is alarming. Still deserves consideration. GRANDE DIABLO (4) is back sharply in trip after a win at Gunnedah last start. One for the exotics. BONCAPO (1) scored comfortably last start over this distance at Warren. Getting up in the weights but looks a key runner again.
