PARTAY (3) led and kicked away with a dominant win over 1400m at Pinjarra. He looks a progressive type on the rise and getting out to 1700m now doesn't appear an issue. Pike rides again, the form out of his last start has stood up, and he can continue to work through the grades. SHIMONOSEKI (4) has jumped favourite her past couple, running over the top to win in a photo finish at Northam most recently. Her effort at this track and trip two back was solid and she still has upside being lightly raced. Can sit just off the tempo and another forward showing is on the cards. ROMANTIC RULER (1) is building nicely this time in work, missing narrowly in much stronger company here last time out. Up to 1700m now is a bonus and CJP takes the ride. The sting out of the ground helps and he can fire a shot. SHOWLAS (2) can get back to her best stepping out to 1700m. FIVE DOWN (7) won't be far away.
