SUIT OF WANDS (9) put it all together in great style last week when leading pillar-to-post in a dominant display. Full of confidence and will be looking to rinse ’n’ repeat. GEETEE FORTY (13) doesn’t win out of turn but has a handful of runs this prep that can measure up, especially under the light weight of the 3kg claim. If Sitt can have him a pair or two closer when straightening he can cause a late scare. EAGLELOU (8) got the bob earlier in the prep and has turned in some good efforts since, despite how his form reads. It wouldn’t surprise to see Murtagh blend him into it at just the right time. NOTHINGELSEMATTERS (3) has been better in his last two on the Pakenham Syntho and could be worth a look with Holder booked. RECIPROCAL (4) was too bad to be true last time and is much better than that. Grace taking back over helps his chances.
