CROSSWIND STAR (3) is at the races for the first time but has looked handy in both trials and this is not an overly strong affair. Sure to be well-educated out of the Hoysted barn and can run a big race on debut. IT'S A LONG ROAD (1) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 1200m at this track when fresh from a break. Strips fitter now and can go right on with it. MISS ANNA MAE (4) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 2.5 lengths when sixth over 1200m at Murwillumbah two weeks ago. Draws low and has the ability to take this out. STAFFO (6) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when seventh, beaten 4 lengths, over 1100m at Ipswich. Finds a nice race and can find winning form with the 1.5kg claim.
