Likely to take plenty of beating. BETTER SWEET (3) won when fresh from a spell two runs back then was well in the market last time but could only manage sixth over 1000m here. Backmarker who gets home hard and shapes as one of the leading chances. WAX ON WAX OFF (5) lifted strongly only to just miss when fresh from a spell last start over 800m at Ipswich. Should tighten right up following that outing. Faces an easier assignment so he all set to go one better. MASHEAN (7) produced a reasonable effort when fifth last start over 800m at Ipswich. That followed a win at Warwick the start prior. Right in contention this time.
