PEMBREY (2) strengthened over the break and showed slick gate speed from the wide draw to lead throughout for an arrogant win in the G2 Silver Shadow Stakes over 1200m at this track. Trainer is expecting big things this time in and can do the job again. CHILLY GIRL (3) looking to keep her unbeaten record intact after resuming with a decisive victory over 1100m at Rosehill in the LR Rosebud. Yet to tick the 1200m box but gets every chance from the right gate. BANGKOK HOTTIE (6) comes here third up after returning good closing splits with a tidy second in the G2 Silver Shadow Stakes. Gets a more genuine tempo here and looks the value play. CHAYAN (1) Reisling winner resuming. Covered ground in the run and came to the end of her prep with a battling tenth over 1200m in the G1 Golden Slipper last March. Fitted with the two trials and place preferred. CHERRY BOMSHELL (4) was noted to be in season after the below par performance first up in the G2 Silver Slipper. Deserves another chance.
