PROPER TWELVE (1) led and looked the winner but was grabbed on the line last start in a Class 1 over this distance at Forbes. Up in grade but that last run came off a two-month break so there is a lot of improvement to come. Sure to give a great sight again. The lightly raced DE JOKER (2) came with a powerful finish but couldn't pick up the winner when a $2.15 favourite over 1300m at Bathurst last time out. Crying out for this sort of trip now - great chance for favourite backers last time to recoup. VENDOR (7) has been in the money at three of four runs over 1400m. Racing well and should feature again and the bad gate doesn't look quite so bad after scratchings. JENNI LA ROCK (6) put the writing on the wall last start with a strong finish at Muswellbrook. Ready to peak after four runs back out of the inside alley. DREYMON (11) did a good job to hold on for third last start in a Class 2 at Scone. This doesn't look quite as tough so he is right in the mix.
