Combining related selections in a multiple bet

You can only combine two or more selections into a multiple bet as long as the outcomes don't affect each other. We call this 'related contingency'. 

For example, you wouldn't be able to combine the following bets, as the outcomes relate to each other.

• Costa Rica to Reach Semi-Final of World Cup.
• Costa Rica to Win World Cup.

Costa Rica would first need to reach the semi-final to win the tournament. Because the two outcomes are related, we can't combine them in a double.
