Relatively lightly-raced 5-y-o. Successful for first time since his bumper debut when scoring in C&D handicap hurdle in July, finding generously in first-time cheekpieces and seemingly having plenty left to give at the line. Could be up to defying a 7-lb rise, provided this isn't a crawl.

Smooth-travelling, hold-up type. Improved when comfortably opening his account in first-time tongue strap over C&D in June. A more delayed challenge saw him resume winning ways in a similar event at Uttoxeter last time. Can go well again with good value conditional taking over following a 4-lb rise.

Hold-up performer who won a classified event on Flat earlier this summer. Ran right up to his best when 2 lengths second behind an unexposed one in a C&D handicap on return to hurdles latest. That performance can be marked up, and he's respected off an unchanged mark.

Positively-ridden winner of a Ludlow novice (2m) last spring. Emerged with credit when beaten 6½ lengths in a briskly-run event at Market Rasen (21f) on latest start 3 months ago. Should find it easier to get to the lead here, and no surprise to see him make a bold bid back over 2m.

Lightly-raced 5-y-o offered something to work on in a bumper/novice hurdle last season. This switch to handicaps has likely long been on the agenda, however, his pedigree/style suggests that longer trips may bring out the best in him.

C&D winner who gained a third career success in 4-runner mares handicap at Uttoxeter (2m) in summer 2023. Probably needed the run when well-held fourth following 31-month absence there last time. Off further 3 months since, though, and Sun Art looks the more solid of stable's runners.
