NO FOOLING (2) looks the one to beat. Two runs this time in have been good, finishing third on each occasion. He was beaten at $2.45 at Pakenham but the conditions were very heavy by then. 1100m now looks perfect, he'll just need a bit of luck in running from the wide gate. LAVANDULA (10) maps for every chance. She's won two on the bounce this campaign, dominant fresh at Ballarat and far too good again at Seymour. Up to 1100m is the tiny niggle but she'll get every chance. BETWITCHERY (9) resumes. Her form last time in against some handy types reads very well. 1100m is on the sharp side for her and she's drawn awfully but she can't be ignored on talent. IT'S A YES (7) resumes. He didn't manage a place in three runs last time in but the fresh run was a narrow fifth in a much stronger 3yo affair at Flemington. He's absolutely good enough.
