NIGHT COLOURS (12) sat on the pace when fresh from a spell but faded to seventh over 1100m at Caulfield Heath. Fitter and far easier here. Tricky gate but looks hard to beat on best. LUCKY DUCK (10) returned from a spell and got off the mark with her maiden success, coming from well back to score. Fitter and can go on with it. OUR SILVER LININGS (5) was a close-up fourth last time beaten less than a length. Will be winding up strongly with even luck. BRENLYN'S TROOPER (3) disappointed last start when a fair sixth over 1300m at Wodonga. Goes well here at home and can improve sharply. SOLVERE (1) is a last start winner at Albury and with the claim and a good draw can feature again.
