He was third as favourite here over 1625m 10 days ago and will relish the step up to 2150m third up from a spell. He has a good draw and should go close to taking this out. HE'S FINESSE (3) improved his form and ran his best race yet when stepping up to a mile and finishing second here in the same race as the top pick. He too, will be at his peak fitness third up, and can go one better. SHALZER (6) was doing her best work late when finishing third on this track just over a fortnight ago. Cobi Vitler is riding well and has taken 3kg off her back. Stick with her on an each-way basis. RODEO LEGEND (1) has been trying to win a race for some time and normally gets too far back early on in his races. This field is not strong, and he could lob a place at a big price.
