BOSCH (2) has been in work for some time but is racing well this prep with his racing interspersed with some freshen-ups along the way. He was close up at Ellerslie 6 weeks ago and will be making his track debut here. His best form is in this direction, and if he can find an uncontested lead, then he can take them all the way. GIGI (5) saves his best for this track, and has only missed a cheque once in 7 starts here, including 3 wins. All of his racing this prep has been in an anti-clockwise direction, so expect him to be very competitive in this. SASSY LASS (7) steps out to a more suitable middle-distance third up from a spell, and will also start from a superior gate this time. Warren Kennedy sticks with her, and so do we. THE PROPHET (11) caught the eye with a big late finish for fourth at Ellerslie 2 weeks ago, and will drop 5kg for this peak assignment. Each way value. BLUE SKY AT NIGHT (1) was too far back fresh up in the Matamata Cup. A form reversal is on the cards here.
