Tough. ELLMAKNIFICO (13) made progress last start to finish second over 1200m at Bairnsdale. Has been briefly freshened and would only have to hold that form to go close. Another forward showing is anticipated. WARMOSA (11) resumes and has some relatively decent pieces of form in stronger company. Has placed 2/4 fresh and has looked tuned-up at the Pakenham jumpouts. The betting will be key. EPICUS (6) got too far back at Hamilton, but his Traralgon effort prior reads well enough. Has to be considered. MAGIC DRUM (1) wasn't beaten far at Traralgon well in the market. Drops back to a shorter sprint on the fresh side and will get his chance in this line-up. ADIURO (2) draws wide but will be around the mark, building on the Maiden win.
