ZARIGANA needed the help of the stewards in the French 1000 Guineas but still leaves the impression she's capable of better and is the one to beat. Supplemented pair Kon Tiki and Falakeyah are jumping straight from listed wins to Group 1 company but look good enough to cope and can provide the chief threat ahead of Chantilly Lace, who was having only her second start when fifth in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket.

Has a 4-5 record, although latest French 1000 Guineas win came via the stewards' room after losing momentum at a crucial stage when first past the post Shes Perfect shifted left. Her jockey also lost his whip at Longchamp and she's the one to beat here with further progress likely.

Impressive winner of both starts, latterly the listed Pretty Polly at Newmarket (1¼m, good to firm), making all by 3¼ lengths. Seems quite an exuberant type and should have no difficulty dropping back to 1m. Supplemented for £46,000. A very exciting prospect.

Unbeaten in 3 starts, looking potentially very smart when seeing off 8 rivals in 1m York listed race on last month's turf debut, sealing it with an electric turn of foot. Supplemented for £46,000 last week. Very interesting runner.

Beaten only by Desert Flower in the May Hill and Fillies' Mile on her final 2 starts as a juvenile. Never involved in the Irish 1000 Guineas on her reappearance 26 days ago. Should come on for the run and Moore on her rather than Exactly.

Smart filly who gained a deserved Group success at Leopardstown (7f, soft) in October. Showed she's trained on well and is equally as effective on a quicker surface when length fourth of 13 to reopposing Zarigana in French 1000 Guineas at Longchamp last month.

Salisbury novice winner at 2 and ran a cracker pitched into the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket on only her second start, finishing 2¼ lengths fifth of 10 to Desert Flower. Surely more to come from her.

Likeable type who ran another fine race when 4 lengths third of 12 to Lake Victoria in the Irish 1000 Guineas at the Curragh (good) last month. Should give her running but vulnerable for win purposes again.

Significant improvement when length second to Desert Flower in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket on reappearance, racing away from the main pack. Not in the same form when only sixth in the Irish version at the Curragh since, though.

Won at Group 2/3 level last summer. Left Fred Darling reappearance well behind when third to Desert Flower in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket but, like stablemate Flight, she needs to bounce back from a lesser run in the Irish 1000 Guineas since. First-time cheekpieces go on.

Much improved when making a winning reappearance in Group 3 Fred Darling at Newbury. Seemed unsuited by the track in 1000 Guineas at Newmarket and bounced back when 4½ lengths fourth of 12 to Lake Victoria in Irish 1000 Guineas at the Curragh. Wears first-time cheekpieces here.

Won a 6f novice and excellent second in 7f Group 3 in her 2 starts as a juvenile. Never really looked like justifying short-priced favouritism when 2 lengths fourth of 6 in Lingfield Group 3 (7f, good to firm) on reappearance but remains capable of better.
