BUOYANT (3) will find this easier than any of his last 3 starts, and even though he has a query over a mile, he is nicely placed at the weights, so stick with him, especially with the in-form Terry Moseley picking the ride on him for the first time. MASTER MARKO (1) tried hard in a stronger field at Timaru 4 days ago, finishing fourth. He is as tough as they come, and if he backs up here, then he is the one to beat. KING OF THE CASTLE (2) has been disappointing since coming to New Zealand, and is always flattering to deceive. If the real version of this gelding turns up, then he can figure in the top 3. PENVOSE LAD (4) just battled on a testing track at Gore 11 days ago, and will start from a superior gate this time. His form prior was strong, and he is worth another chance. GO LOTTE (5) is regular at the meetings down South, and is overdue for a top 3 finish, so don't leave her out of any top 4 combinations.
