A modest contest and tricky to assess. SHEER TERRA (4) resumes for a canny local stable and two back led and placed second here on debut. She pulled up with an issue well-supported following, and has trialled well at Canberra for her return. Will be naturally improved, and this is a winnable assignment. FOCUS POINT (2) presents fresh and has transferred to the local Joe Clearly stable. She just missed in a recent Canberra trial and Taylor rides. Sharp improvement is on the cards. BOURBON QUEEN (5) went well enough at Newcastle on debut, but didn't do a lot here first up, following a yard switch. She was slow away, and the longer sprint will suit. Is still learning, but Freeman stays aboard and will know her better. STAR TURN DANCER (8) resumes for a sharp Canberra stable and deserves a betting watch on that score alone.
