LA ASTRO CHAT (3) keeps racing well, good off a short spell at Cranbourne and atoning with a sharp victory at Mornington last time, sprinting well to come clear and score by 1.75 lengths. He draws wide this time but has the speed to roll forward and take catching. PICK 'N' MIX (4) was poor first up at Caulfield Heath when right in the market and has been given a let up since then. She's much better than that and has to be given another chance. CHARMED RUN (2) ran a solid race on resumption at Warrnambool when getting into second. She'll need the breaks from the low gate but is a chance if they come. FOXENBERG (9) resumes for his second campaign. He's had a bit of boom on him and looked good early doors before a couple of so-so runs before a break. Wary here while fresh. BOSSY STAR (6) resumes and should be hitting the line late.
