MENZAH ONE (2) was hard in the market first up at Cranbourne over 1200m and worked home well to grab third. He looks suited getting to 1400m for the first time and with that run under the belt he should take plenty of beating. STORM AHEAD (4) was good on debut at Sale over this trip as a $3 chance, beaten under a length. He'll be better for that experience and looks a key chance from the raced brigade. WIND BLAST (6) is a gelding by Vadamos on debut for the Hayes yard, with Blake Shinn booked. He's jumped out well and must be respected. Big watch on MISS ALEXIS (11), a full sister to the talented Federer, out of Caulfield Cup winner Jameka. Her jumpouts have been solid and she's got the pedigree to go a long way. SWEET AS A KISS (12) made good improvement at her second outing and can improve again.
