Tricky race to get things underway. LAST MILE (7) led them up here over the mile last start when beaten 2.9L and now stretches up to 2200m. That is the query, but suspect the extra journey won't be an issue with Brad Parnham booked to ride. Can shed his maiden tag this time. NEAP TIDE (2) stepped up to this track and trip last time out but couldn't match the winner, finishing 5L away. Pike rides now and he should be better for that run over this trip. Doesn't have to improve a whole lot to be taking this out. HARRIS ROAD (4) is building nicely this campaign and comes through the same race as Last Mile where they hit the line locked together. He's a lightly raced gelding with plenty of upside at just start four. Can make his presence felt. LOVE OF FAR FA (6) wasn't beaten far over this track and trip last time out and can go a couple better with that run under her belt. OBSCENTINO (1) is next best.
