PYGMALION (3) looks to have found a suitable race on resumption on the back of a nice trial over 400m last month. He was narrowly beaten behind two smart ones last campaign and the inside barrier should see him prominent in the run. Looks well placed and can resume on a winning note. SALTY MISS (4) is another on resumption today and wasn't far away in Open 3YO company to finish last preparation. She'll be fitter for two trials coming into this and she was only narrowly beaten in a similar race when first-up last campaign. She appears the main danger. VIVALDA (6) just missed first-up at this track and trip before a 1.2L defeat at Bunbury last time out when out to 1200m. Back to this course and distance is a big tick, as is Parnham sticking with her. Should get her chance in the straight. GABEX (9) gets Pike in the saddle who sticks with her from her latest trial and she can play a role on debut. HYPERREAL (1) is better than he showed last start and is not to be discounted.
