Tricky race with a number of first starters. HOT CHIX LANE (7) impressed at the trials most recently and looks to get her chance from a favourable gate. She led and won in her latest outing rather than taking a sit as she had done in her previous outings. Brad Parnham rides now and she can make a winning start to her career. TYCOON DREAMER (8) showed good speed to win her only outing over 400m at Belmont. That holds her in good stead over the 1000m journey at Northam where there's only one turn. Can make an impression. ESTA MIRANDO (6) hit the line nicely in her trials although the margins suggest she was beaten a long way. Pike hops on board for Team Williams and partnered her in her first trial. Needs some luck but can put her best foot forward. WILUNA LASS (10) was strong in both trials coming into this and is not to be discounted. DEW TELL (5) was very strong in her latest outing and can be in the finish.
