ELYSIUM (4) was backed from 2.4 into 2.1 and led all the way to get the cash on debut over 1400m at Goulburn last start. Promising filly taking on a better field now but she will learn a lot from that last win and can go on with it. OMNIC (2) had a 32-day let-up before turning in a better performance last time out, leading for home before finding Southern Prince too classy over the mile at Kembla. Will tighten up a little following that hit out. Drawn to enjoy a lovely run and looms as the biggest threat. GOLDEN LOOM (1) found 1300m at Hawkesbury a bit slick when resuming from a spell recently but he did manage to pass more than half the field in the straight. Makes far greater appeal today over more ground on a bigger circuit. Last start Muswellbrook maiden winner VERITY (5) is lightly raced and in very good hands. Can progress enough to be competitive against this deeper line-up.
