EMPIRE GRACE (7) continues to tick along beautifully and doesn’t need to find much more to be winning again. Draws well, gets in super light with the 3kg claim, and the reunion with the apprentice only strengthens her case. Very hard to beat. STOKOMO (1) made a strong return at Gawler, chasing gamely into second, and should tighten up nicely from that run. Draws favourably again and looks a key danger. SIR LEAPALOT (2) was dominant at the midweeks when putting away a BM56 with ease. This is a tougher test, but he’s trending the right way and the claimer sticking is a positive. TRIPOD TERROR (5) should be nearing his peak now and also benefits from the claim. A capable type who can feature. ANAHORISH (13) was an impressive debut winner at headquarters and wasn’t disgraced last start against stronger. Third-up now and worth keeping safe.
