Verdict
Good little race with some handy tyoes set to doo battle. SAV ON ICE (3) has really come of age this winter and he looks well placed to win again if the track is soft or heavy. He's enjoyed getting his toe into the ground and has posted dominant wins in recent starts. He's versatile so Todd Pannell can ride him as he jumps from the wider gate. Both runs from CONCORDE (4) this campaign have been full of merit and he's maintained fitness with a trial between runs. He is capable of running in the money. SHOELESS (6) is hard to fault and looks some chance of posting back-to-back wins in SA. BRAVE STAR (2) went close last time and can go into wider plays, while FINE FUTURE (1) will be improved for the first-up run and looks the class horse in the race.
