AMLETO (1) was heavily supported last start at Moonee Valley and ran on well after covering plenty of ground, sticking on for a half-length defeat. This race looks to lack a bit of depth and while drawn wide, the small field should mean he isn't far off them. A repeat of last start should be winning this. EMPHASIZE (3) was a bit disappointing last time at Geelong but had been coming along well prior and could now be suited getting to 2040m. HOUSE OF LORDS (7) is a lightly raced 5yo mare who ran well at Flemington last time over 1700m when strong to the line. She'll relish this trip and can improve again. SAXON BEAUTY (6) dropped out in that Flemington race but had been racing consistently prior and back up in trip suits. SIR ROCKFORD (4) next best.
