ALESUND (2) was narrowly beaten on a slow track at Sale three back, and that would win this. He's been plainer since but presents on a 9-day return and will go close if he brings his A-game. BUZITUP (4) came off a long spell at Seymour and needed the outing. He's also on a 9-day backup, and the blinkers go on again. Quick improvement is likely. PRINCE OF SYNERGY (6) can also offer more second-up. He ran his best race at Geelong over this trip with Rawiller aboard, and he is reunited. He also gets his chance in a weak race. BRILLIANT EIGHT (3) has been going along okay in the country and maps for a soft run.
