WEEKEND LOVER (9) went close twice over this distance and then dropped back in trip and missed a place as a $2.1 favourite. This suits better and he can use the rail to advantage. Deserves another chance. PLASTIC DREAMS (7) races forward and also brings strong relative form over staying trips. Disappointed a tad at Pakenham last time as a $2 favourite but peaks today and will be tough to beat. CLYDEBANK ROBBER (2) beat the above home in that contest at a price. He's missed a lip here prior and has to be considered. BAFFLECK (10) is an improver and maps well. Steps up to this trip for the first time and should be around the mark.
