QUONDO (1) resumes from a spell that would have done him the world of good. He was placed at G2 level in the spring, and a wet track is what he has been waiting for. Having no tune-up trials is a query for us, but he is in a stable that have their team ready to rumble fresh. Follow the money trail. ROBBIE BURNS (2) is a lightly tried 7YO gelding who has a decent record without winning often. He comes to hand quickly, and with the aid of a 2kg claim, he is set to run a big race fresh up. VIVA GLAM (14) has been overall disappointing this year, but her best form has come here on her home track. She is worth another chance in this, especially with Craig Grylls back in the saddle. NOTABADBERGS (8) has raced his way back into form and has been beaten narrowly in his last couple of starts. Stick with him on an each-way basis. AMUSEMENT (11) did not see out 1600m last start, and she is worth including back to this sprint trip. ATLANTA GOLD (13) will be peaking fourth up. Don't risk her.
