Hoop Tilley has been in the irons for all three trial wins and sticks for race day. Bold showing expected on debut. PIPPIE POMAR (9) was in the betting at Gold Coast when at the races for the first time but didn't measure up on that occasion. Will be better with race experience now in the locker and should find this task a touch easier. Looms as the main danger. AWESOME TESS (4) put in a career-best performance when resuming and gets plenty of weight relief with the 3kg claim. Top-three candidate. ILEGITIMO (1) is another to get some weight off and may earn some minor money from the low draw. EMBOLDEN (12) next best despite the wide draw.
