TILLSTROM (8) never looked likely last start in town when always a long way back. His form prior reads well though and he can get things straight back on track in this easier assignment. Can take closer order this time from the kind draw and looks the one to beat. MAURICE'S MEDAD (2) progressed sharply second-up at Kilcoy when taking out a CL3. No tougher this time and has further improvement in store. Leading player. WOLF CLUB (4) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished fifth when fresh from a spell two starts back at Mudgee then improved to score over this trip at Tamworth a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by a head after being sent forward. Strips fitter again and has more to offer. MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN (10) is ticking along nicely without winning and doesn't have to improve much to get the job done this time. FIVE RINGS (5) has only been sound in his two runs back but can improve sharply third-up. Don't dismiss.
