FINEST VIEW failed to justify market support on her first two starts over fences during the winter but this is her time of year (five of her half-a-dozen career wins have been gained during spring months) and it would be no surprise at all were she to leave those efforts behind here. The 8-y-o gets the nod in this trappy-looking contest, with Harel Du Marais second choice ahead of last-time-out winners Iskar d'Airy and Flamelco.

Fair hurdles winner who left his first 2 efforts over fences well behind when winning comfortably over this C&D in March. Beaten at odds on next time but back on the up with a decisive success at Warwick (16.2f, good) and, though this will be tougher up 6 lb, he is every inch a major player.

Jumping has looked rather suspect over fences but he won twice during the winter (including over this C&D) and looked more assured than ever in that department when adding to his tally at Plumpton (17f, good) 18 days ago. More needed up 5 lb but couldn't rule out all the same.

Revitalised upon joining this yard, recording back-to-back 2m wins at Southwell in March. Didn't find much at the business end in his hat-trick bid at Wetherby last time but probably used up too much petrol before the race (very free going to post) and it'd be no surprise should he bounce back here.

Fairly useful hurdler who was runner-up 4 times in handicaps last summer. Failed to measure up to market expectations switched to fences at Kempton and Hereford late last year but she tends to come good during the spring and is not discounted here having slipped to an attractive mark.

Took well to fences during the winter, making all over 2m at Warwick and Hereford. Added to that with another all-the-way success back from a break at Wincanton in March but form has dipped on his last 2 starts and he's probably a shade too high in the weights now.

    Verdict
Fair bumper winner who reached a similar level over hurdles, making a winning return in a Uttoxeter maiden last October. However, he was pulled up next time and his 3 subsequent efforts in this sphere have been anything but encouraging.
