CASUAL CONNECTION (5) has a habit of bobbing up in this sort of race at a price. Decent effort last start when he boxed on gamely to be beaten just 1.4 lengths over 2400m at the Kensington track. Up in grade but gets in nicely after Stanley's allowance. Can win coming back to this more suitable trip. CORMAC T (9) heads a strong Neasham/Archibald contingent. Returned with a commendable third over 1550m at Canterbury last time out. Goes well second-up and this is his right trip. Must be respected. KOSUKE (17) made a mid-race move to find the lead then wilted near home over 2400m at the Kensington track recently. That was a glimpse of form and enough to suggest he can be a nuisance here at a big price. OUR BAMBINO (13) brings excellent country form to the table. Boasts a strong record at this trip and makes plenty of appeal carrying just 52kgs. SUN GOD (3) put the writing on the wall last start and looks a threat with blinkers on for the first time.
