ANGELIC BOOM (7) resumes here but the form she showed in her first preparation was good enough to feature in a race of this nature. Tuned up for this with an easy trial and draws perfectly in gate three. Respect from the Gollan barn. THE LOUVRE (6) got the job done over this course and distance on debut and Metcalfe stays on top. Again gets the benefit of her 2kg claim and a strong first-up showing would not surprise. SPARTUS (4) has been thereabouts in all three runs since joining the new stable and will be ready to peak now fourth-up from the break. Should be right there when the judge calls a halt. The well-related JACKA STANDS ALONE (3) (half to 2xG3 winner and G2 placed Raiment) hasn't done much wrong with a win and a placing from two starts to date and has to be included in calculations while fresh. ALLEZIZZY (13) best of the rest from the inside alley.
