ORIGIN OF LOVE (2) is a very promising 3-year-old filly who followed up a brave fifth in the G1 1000 Guineas at Riccarton with a gutsy effort for second in the G3 Eulogy Stakes at Trentham 12 days ago over a mile. She is ready for a middle distance and is the one to beat again. PULSATILLA (1) was beaten by a wide draw here in the G2 Eight Carat Classic 6 days ago, and before that, she flew home to score a comprehensive win on the Eagle Memorial on this track. She is bred to relish the extra 400m, and is expected to bounce back into the money immediately. BORN TO BE ROYAL (7) is a progressive maiden filly that has been crying out for more ground after finishing runner-up by a neck at Matamata nearly a fortnight ago. Opie Bosson picks up the ride, and from a decent gate, they merit healthy respect. SAVINA (11) had a genuine excuse for a modest effort at Te Rapa last time out, and she is another who has been wanting more ground. Each way value. HEY DANA (5) is worth including in combos.
