ARGO (2) followed on from a well-deserved maiden win at Te Aroha, with another victory, this time at Te Rapa, when scoring by a nose in a gritty performance. He rises in weight, but is good enough to complete the hat-trick. GOLDEN WINGS (1) overcame a wide gate to cross and lead all the way at Te Rapa nearly 3 weeks ago, getting the job done by 3 lengths. He has a far superior draw this time, and will again be hard to peg back. KHALEESI (6) franked some good trial form with an eye-catching win on debut at Tauranga when she stormed home out wide to win by over a length with plenty in hand. She has a good gate and can have the last say here as well. WYWORRY (3) was tried in front at Trentham nearly 4 weeks ago and kept on kicking hard to finish third by a neck. He can take cover this time, and should be right in the finish again. Each-way value. ZERRE (4) will be chasing a hat-trick of wins, and a repeat of her last start win at Te Aroha will take her close in this as well.
