Highly competitive but ARNHEM still looks well-treated on old form, having made a winning start for Jim Goldie (who excels with this type) at Haydock 9 days ago. Marching Mac has shaped promisingly in recent starts and would be interesting if the rain arrives, while Roach Power has mixed it in higher grades this season and arrives in top form. Of the rest, Trilby is well-handicapped if a tongue strap has the desired effect, while there could still be more to come from 3-y-o sprinter Acrisius.

Runner-up on handicap debut over C&D and wasn't disgraced in the Epsom Dash in June. Back on the up in lesser company subsequently, going with plenty of enthusiasm and seeing out his race well when winning an 8-runner handicap at Chester (5.1f, good to firm) 50 days ago. Could progress again.

Useful sprinter at his best and having lost his way for Rebecca Menzies, got back in the groove on first start for Jim Goldie landing a 14-runner handicap at Haydock (5f) 9 days ago. Yard excels with this type and he remains well-treated on his old form.

Consistent filly who opened her account for the season at Thirsk (5f) in July and has held her form well since, creditable ¾-length third behind Jojo Rabbit in a handicap at Beverley (5f, good to firm) 47 days ago. In fine heart but contests a much deeper race here.

Consistent and lightly-raced for a sprinter. Finished runner-up for the third consecutive start at Epson (6f) last month, again not looking the stoutest of finishers over the trip (has also had a couple of breathing operations). That looks solid form and he should be suited by the return to 5f.

Had been shaping up quite nicely and just about a career best when runner-up at Thirsk at the beginning of last month. Not in the same form at Musselburgh 6 days on, a wide trip and another quick turnaround offering some mitigation. Could bounce back with Billy Loughnane taking over in the saddle.

Course winner had some solid handicap form last season and again looked capable of winning in this grade at the beginning of the season. However, he clearly wasn't 100% on either start back in May. Interesting to see if the market expects him to bounce back following a 4-month absence.

Completed a hat-trick in June/July and improved again in defeat when second in a 5-runner handicap at Bath (5f, firm) last month. Found run of good form coming to a halt at Chester last time, poorly placed after getting behind early on. Needs a career-best but this track should suit better.
