COMONGIN (7) progressive gelding who looks destined for better things. Bounced off his good first-up second with a gritty on pace head victory over 1100m at Coonamble. Well in again with the claim and gets the gun run. CRESTA RUN (8) sent to town after giving them a galloping lesson when leading throughout over 1200m at Moree. Failed to handle the steep class rise when a tiring tenth over 1000m at Randwick. Kept fresh and shapes as the main danger. KEADOOL (1) is knocking on the door after being nailed late at his last two runs over the 1100m. Yet to be tested at the 1200m and will give them something to catch. JAGERSCHNITZEL (10) returned from a let-up with an overdue win from the wide gate at Dubbo over the 1000m. Kept up to the mark with a recent 1000m trial placing. Has the ability to surprise in this stronger race. REPRISAL (3) much better effort at his second run for the new yard. Look for him doing his best work late.
